AFRICAN AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF CENTRAL FLORIDA ANNOUNCES ITS NEW BOARD OF GOVERNORS

Orlando, FL (6/28/10) - The African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida has elected new officers for the Board of Governors of the 65 year old service organization.

Effective July 1, elected officers will include Lonnie C. Bell, Jr., Chairman, Director, Family Services, Orange County Government; Vernice Atkins-Bradley, Chairman-Elect, President, Votum Construction; Carol Buford, 1st Vice-Chairman, President, OmniOne Group, Inc; Earnest DeLoach, Vice-Chairman, Principal, DeLoach Law, LLC; Sibille Pritchard, Secretary,  Brooksville Development Corp; and Chuck Ikeji, Treasurer, President, Chuck Ikeji, CPA.

 

Incoming Chairman Lonnie C. Bell Jr. will succeed Ronald O. Rogers who has served at the organization’s helm for the last two and a half years. Rogers will continue to serve on the Board in the capacity of Immediate Past Chairman.  Bell formerly served as Executive Director of the Chamber prior to being appointed by Orange County Mayor Rich T. Crotty to lead operations for Orange County Government Business Development.  He currently serves as Director of Family Services for Orange County.
