Goldston is a recognized champion of educational initiatives supporting African-American youth. He is president emeritus of 100 Black Men of America and founder and president emeritus of 100 Black Men of Atlanta, both serving as an educational support, mentoring, and advocacy organization. He is also Chairman of the Bill Dickey Foundation, an organization offering scholarships to African-American student golfers. Goldston serves as Chairman of the Georgia Peace Officers Foundation (formerly the Burt Reynolds Foundation) and sits on the Board of Trustees of Wilberforce University and the
Goldston is founder of Gourmet Services, an organization that has built a strong reputation based on quality, integrity and philanthropy by building sustaining symbiotic partnerships with its customers and heavily reinvesting within the communities it serves. Now in its 31st year, the company employs 2,500 employees and provides meals to more than 40,000 college students on the campuses of historically Black colleges and universities and 200,000 students attending urban school districts.
The luncheon theme is “Moving Forward in a Positive Direction” and the entire community is encouraged to attend. The cost is $40 for members, $50 for non-members, and $400 for corporate tables.
